Biography

Zhang Minguang: Associate Chief Physician, PhD, Postdoctoral Fellow. Graduated with a PhD from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. National Committee Member of the Andrology and Sexology Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Member of the Andrology Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association and Deputy Head of the Male Sexual Dysfunction Group; Member of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Group of the Urology Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association. Specializes in andrological surgery (penile prosthesis, penile lengthening and girth enhancement, microsurgical varicocelectomy); laparoscopic and robotic surgery for urological tumors (prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and kidney cancer); minimally invasive surgery for benign prostatic hyperplasia; and diagnosis and treatment of sexual dysfunction and chronic prostatitis. Has conducted relatively in-depth research in the mechanisms by which androgens regulate erectile function, comprehensive treatment of invasive bladder cancer, and molecular markers of urological tumors. Served as principal investigator and completed one project each funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation; received one First Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education of China, one Second Prize and one Third Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award; and obtained one national invention patent and four utility model patents.
